Where am I? 

What was I doing there? 

How did I get there? 

I guess that I got there after the big noise 

But the answers to the questions I did not know. 

I timidly turned to me left and saw nothing but people, as far as the eye could see. 

I turned to my right as there too were oceans of people. 

On one side of me was my father. 

He looked so peaceful and his eyes were warm and happy. 

On the other side of me there was my mother, whose bluish-green eyes stared pleasantly at the black desk. 

I glanced over and saw my sisters. 

I saw my grandmother and wanted to cry, “Granny, oh granny.  I though you were dead!”, but I would have broken the silence. 

I quickly saw that around me in a circle, was my family, and then my other relatives in another circle and then my closest friends, and then all the people I had ever known were circled around me and were watching me. 

There was a sharp noise like that of a trumpet. 

A Book was opened and the cover fell with a thud to the top of the desk. 

Then other books were opened.

At least I wasn’t first; 

I didn’t want to be first.

Thousands of people went before me, but it still seemed like I was first. 

Even those who were weeping and screaming – now began saying, “Clyde Fulmer.” 

It echoes again and again and again. 

A thousand daggers tore at my stomach. 

I know it was my turn!

Again the voice from the top of the desk spoke, but this time it was still and small. 

It said, “Clyde Fulmer, of the sixteenth generation of Fulmers, step forward.”

I fell to my knees and began to cry, “Forgive me! God! God! Oh God, Forgive me! 

The voice said “Silence!”

On a gigantic movie screen all my thoughts were projected. 

The people who knew me were horrified. 

Some said with great distain, “He thought that!?”

And others uttered shocked “oohs” and ahhs.” 

I was not really embarrassed; this was much too serious.
 

The Judgement

God:     “Son”

Jesus:  “Yes Father”

God:“Do you have anything to say on there behalf?”

Jesus: “No father, I do not know them”

God: “Then they will be judged by my righteousness, according to the works they have done..”  …Open The Books…

I am the Lord you God, who brought you into existence for my purpose.  I created you in my image to reflect my glory and nature to all of creation.  You are found guilty of treason and betrayal.

You have had many gods and possession before me.  I created you with the specific ability to discover and worship me with all of you hear mind and soul.  But instead you used that gift to make to yourself false images that were worshiped in place of me.

My name and character is holy, for I AM holy. And you took my name and nature and used it to describe perversion, wickedness and hatred towards me.  By doing so you have attacked and assaulted my holiness.

You have dishonored My Sabbath day of worship and did not keep it holy in honor of me.

You did not give honor and respect to the earthly parents that I gave you, but mocked them instead.

You have hated many of my image bearers without a just cause, committing the crime of murder in your heart.

You have committed adultery by your thoughts, because you have desecrated violated and raped my creation that I chose to be a reflection of my holy character.

You have stolen from others that which was not rightfully yours, depriving them of their own possessions.

You have practiced deception, and cheated many with your broken vows.  You have been unthankful for what I have provided

And have desired other people possessions from a heart of pure greed.

You are found guilty by your own works of wickedness

Girl: “But God what about ….”

Girl: “You didn’t tell me…”

Guy: “But I never knew you existed, it’s all your fault God…”

Jesus:

I made myself know to you and I sent my servants to you.  But you refused to allow me to pay for your crimes.  I have revealed knowledge of myself and my law to you within your hearts and minds and the heavens declare my glory.

You stand before me guilty and without excuse.

…Tomorrow…

Everyone became silent…

I began to shake violently and by then I was wet with a cold sweat. 

The voice spoke this time like thunder and with anger. 

“Depart from me, ye cursed into the eternal fire Which is prepared for the devil and his angels!” 

I fell upon my face and began to claw and bite myself, and I screamed again and again. 

“Have mercy! Oh my God.  I love You.  God! God!” 

Two men clothed in white with eyes like fire came to me. 

They took my arms and lifted me up. 

I was still screaming! 

I turned and looked at my family. 

They didn’t look sad, but repulsed!

How wretched is the sight of a damned person! 

The men led me to the left side. 

I couldn’t cry and I couldn’t scream. 

I just stood there among the thousands and as I stood there in the midst of the weeping cursing, biting, screaming mob, I began to think of all the opportunities I had had in my life that could have put me to the right side, the blessed side, and I, too, began to cry. 

After a while some of the men in white clothes opened up the two doors from the bottom of the cloud.  All of us on the left side were herded like cattle through the two doors, down a great ramp. 

There we stood in the black pit. 

We all pushed and squeezed to get as close as we could to the ramp so we could get a last look at the pure light. 

A sudden hush fell on the ocean of people; every muscle in my body tensed and again I was shaking uncontrollably. 

In the opening at the top of the ramp was God’s face! 

It was brighter than the light of a million furnaces and it glowed with pure love. 

It was so pure that some could not behold it and fell prostrate on their faces. 

We stood spell bound and then the horrors of horrors! 

The climax of all tortures. 

God turned His face away!

Then the great doors were shut and all was darkness. 

The multitude wailed a wail the shook the very foundation of Hell. 

Then with one great explosion, the fires of Hell were ignited. 

The fire the brimstone and the mental anguish were fused inseparably into this Hellish nightmare, but it is no nightmare. 

I call upon God to relieve my pain, but there is no God. 

He has turned His face away. 

And I remember! 

Oh, if only I could not remember. 

I remember my life, and all of the opportunities I had to be saved. 

I remember the Christian School I attended and all the sermon I heard. 

I remember my Christian home and the members of my family who are now around God’s throne. 

And I remember the Day of Judgment, that fateful day when I was sent to this torment.

That was yesterday, or was it today? 

Or was it ten thousand years ago?

There is no time here only misery and memory. 

Oh if only God would say to me, “burn in Hell one day and then come join the blessed.”

Or if he would say, “Burn one million years and join the loved and blessed.”

Oh if only there was an end to this torment. 

Let this body be burnt up! 

Let me soul be consumed! 

Oh if only these everlasting worms would stop eating away at my body for one minute! 

I bite and claw myself, but no blood comes forth. 

I curse and scream, but to no avail. 

I pray, but God does not hear me.

Oh, my wretched soul!

Why oh why did the world have to end?

Why couldn’t I have had one more day?

I was going to accept Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. 

I really was Tomorrow.

[Disclaimer of Salvation]

This presentation was not designed to scare, but to awaken some to the reality of man’s present sinful condition.  Our only hope to be forgiven and to restore our relationship with God is to acknowledge, confess, and repent of our sins.

The Bible commans us to look to Jesus Christ alone as the only one sufficient to give us what we desperately need to be reconciled to God.  Through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, He has taken the punishment for sin on Himself,

And has merited for us perfect righteousness that God has found acceptable.

If you receive Him by faith, trust in His righteousness and not your own, and confess Him as Lord of your life, then you will be received by God the Father and adopted into his family forever. 

There is forgiveness of sin for those who repent.  If you desire is to turn from your sin and surrender your life to Jesus Christ, then go before God right now and pray…

Acknowledge Jesus Christ as the only son of God.

Confess and ask forgiveness for your sins.

Ask him to become your Lord and personal savior.

Finally surrender you entire life to the perfect will of God, which he has revealed in the Bible.

If you pray such a prayer, He will receive you as His own, and give you his grace, mercy and love that lasts for all eternity.

The choice is yours.

34 When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

35 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. 36 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? 37 Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

38 For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”

Luke 14:33  (NKJV)

33 So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (NKJV)

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour[a] your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,

God:Son, Do have anything to say on their behalf?

Jesus:       “Yes Father…

These are the ones whom you have given to me

These are the one that I went to the cross for

Father, You judged me guilty in their place

And I have paid for their transgressions

And they are covered by my righteousness

God:

Children, I love you so much

That I sent by beloved son to redeem you

So that you may stand blameless before me for all eternity.

Because you have believed in him, you have also believed in me

And are now clothed in the righteousness which he alone has merited for you.  Your sins I have placed as far as the east is from the west

To be remembered against you no more, for you have been made holy in my presence.

Well done my good and faithful servants

Enter into the everlasting joy of the Lord
